Freelance Construction Skills Assessor/Tutor
We are looking for a Freelance Construction Skills Assessor/Tutor with teaching experience. The candidate should contribute a few hours per week to write and assess assignments with some course development. Furthermore, we use Moodle to deliver learning, and we use OneFile (e-Portfolio) to record assessments and progress. As such, we issue all assignments centrally so the only admin is assessing of assignments. Therefore, you can choose your workload, and time you work. All we ask is that you assess work and feedback within 5 days of receiving it.
What’s more, as a Freelance Construction Skills Assessor/Tutor you will also likely have another contract or a full time job, so can only fit in so much per week. Therefore, you would need to be freelance which means you would invoice us at the end of every month. We pay per assignment, and the rate depends on the level and complexity. Typically, it would be £11 per assignment assessed and we pay £33 for writing assignments (with model answers). Once up to speed, 3 assignments per hour is possible to assess if not more. We pay £16.50 per hour for team meetings and training.
